Maritime Cultural History Museum

As they live on an Island located in the Indian Ocean, Maritime Culture has always been a significant part of the lives of Sri Lankans. But often, this glorious maritime history of the country is forgotten and ignored. Would an iconic maritime cultural history museum be able to highlight this forgotten history and celebrate the real capabilities of the Sri Lankan and his close relationship with the ocean?
